named after Yakiv Pauchenko in 2021

    The Regional Award in Architecture, Heraldry and Vexillology, and Decorative and Applied Arts named after Yakiv Pauchenko was founded by the Kirovohrad Regional Council (resolution from May 31, 2002, No. 36) on the application of Kirovohrad Regional Organization of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, Kirovohrad Regional Department of Ukrainian Heraldic Society, and Kirovohrad Regional Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
    The award is given in three nominations: "architecture", "heraldry and vexillology", "decorative and applied arts". The award is given for: in the nomination “architecture” - for putting into operation facilities of architecture and town building, including industrial facilities, reconstruction, and restoration of historical monuments and monuments of landscape architecture, construction (restoration) of which has considerably influenced the shaping of the aesthetic environment of communities of the region, has set an example of usage of advanced modern technology, designs, and materials, and has a significant historical and architectural value, etc.; in the nomination “heraldry and vexillology” - for realized projects: symbols of territorial communities of the region (coat of arms, flags, logos, decorations of different degrees, etc.); renewal of historical symbols of the region (on conditions of practical application by regional territorial communities); symbols which are employed on architectural objects, put into operation in interiors and objects of landscape architecture, have a significant historical and artistic value, etc.; in the nomination “decorative and applied arts” – for carpet and textile works, the three-dimensional compositions from metal, wood, clay, stone, glass, etc. which are employed on architectural objects put into operation, in interiors and objects of landscape architecture, which have a significant historical and artistic value, etc.
    According to the resolution of Kirovohrad Regional Council from August 22, 2017, No. 362, the award is given annually on March 21, on the day of birth of the architect Yakiv Pauchenko. The winners receive the title of “Laureate of the Regional Award in Architecture, Heraldry, Vexillology, and Decorative and Applied Arts named after Yakiv Pauchenko”, Diploma of the standard pattern, pecuniary reward, the honorary prize of the Regional Council and the Regional State Administration - a statuette of "Steppe eagle".

Author: Storozhenko Svitlana Vasylivna – a master of decorative painting and dough art, the head of the folk art group of the studio of visual and decorative and applied art “Pysanka” in the public after-school institution “Kirovohrad Regional Center of Children’s and Youth Creativity” (the town of Kropyvnytskyi)

    The monumental panel in the technique of the wall painting “Happiness” in the building of Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko, a series of decorative works in the technique of pysanka painting. Author: Storozhenko Tetiana Oleksandrivna – a master of decorative wall painting and pysanka-making, a member of the National Union of Folk Art Artists of Ukraine (the town of Kropyvnytskyi)

    There were no materials applied for the nominations “architecture” and “heraldry and vexillology”.
    The exhibition presents the demonstration materials of the contenders for the award in the nomination “decorative and applied arts”.
