Personal Online Exhibition of works by
Merited Artist of Ukraine Anatolii Yaniev “The Sun in Winter” to his 75th Anniversary
from the Museum Collection “Modern Ukrainian Fine Art”

    A personal exhibition of works by a famous Ukrainian artist, merited Artist of Ukraine AnatoliiYaniev “The Sun in Winter” dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the artist. Yaniev Anatolii Mykytovych was born on December 15, 1945 in the village of Mytrofanivka, Novhorodka district, The Kirovohrad Oblast. Merited Artist of Ukraine (2013). A member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1989). The first laureate of the Regional Award in Fine Art and Study of Art named after Oleksandr Osmerkin in the nomination National tradition (2005).
    Graduated from Kyiv State Art Institute, now the National Academy of Visual Art and Architecture of Ukraine (1974), a painter, specialty teachers – the People’s Artists of Ukraine TetianaHolembiievska, Viktor Shatalin.
    Worked as a painter in Kirovohrad art and industrial workshops of Art Fund of Ukrainian SSR (1974-1989), as a teacher in the Department of Arts in Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after V.V.Vynnychenko (1994-1996), and in Children Art School named after O.O.Osmerkin (1996-1999).
    A participant of regional, all-Ukrainian, and foreign art exhibitions. Has presented personal; exhibitions in the art institutions in Kropyvnytskyi – the Regional Universal Scientific Library named after D.I.Chuzhevskyi (1996), the Regional Art Museum, now the Museum of Arts (2010), and the gallery “Yelisavethrad” (2015). Personal vernissages of the artist were held in O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum within the art projects “Laureates of the Regional Award in Fine Art and Study of Art named after Oleksandr Osmerkin” (2013) and “In the Artist’s Studio” (2018). The works of the artist are kept in the Directorate of the Exhibitions of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the Museum of Arts, O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum, private collections.
    The art works of Merited Artist of Ukraine Anatolii Yaniev brightly reflect the development in realistic painting, the traditions of which the artist confidently introduces to the modern visual art. Constantly is in search of expressive new forms which help to develop the image of a human and the world he\she lives in a more fundamental way.
The exposition of the jubilee exhibition is comprised of more than 20 paintings and graphic works of Merited Artist of Ukraine Anatolii Yaniev from the museum collection “Modern Ukrainian Fine Art” of different years starting from the 1970s and until now. Landscapes, still lifes, portraits of fellow artists, family, and nude, as well as the self-portraits of the artist.
    The exhibition is completed with the photos of the art events of Merited Artist of Ukraine AnatoliiYaniev in O.O.Osmerkin Art-memorial Museum – awarding of the Regional Award in Fine Art and Study of Art named after Oleksandr Osmerkin (2005), a presentation of the personal exhibitions of works “Art Horizons of Anatolii Yaniev” within the art project “The Laureates of the Regional Award in Fine Art and Study of Art named after Oleksandr Osmerkin” (2013) and “Pictorial Universe of Anatolii Yaniev” within the art project “In the Artist’s Studio” (2018).
